Almost Wordless (and breathless) Wednesday: Thanksgiving Edition!

I know I’ve never done a “Wordless Wednesday” post before, but I think if there were ever a first Wednesday to start, this was the Wednesday to do it.

Thanksgiving is tiring.

But OH SO EXCITING!

Up first: Lion House Rolls, a la Mel’s Kitchen Cafe:

*Cue hallelujah chorus*

Next, Ina’s Apple-Pear Crisp:

And finally, my version of Victoria’s Cranberry Cherry Apple Chutney:

I used Victoria’s recipe to a T except rather than dried cherries, I used Bonne Maman’s Cherry Preserves, omitted the shallots, and adjusted the amount of sugar to my taste. Oh, and no zest. We don’t like zest ’round these parts.

Here’s the full menu for tomorrow:

Clearly, there’s still much work to be done. And on that note, I bid you goodnight. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
